Could you help with a study about your experiences of haemophilia A?

Written by Aaron Dennis, February 6, 2020

We are working with a market research agency specialising in healthcare and medical/pharmaceutical market research. They are currently working on a study for a pharmaceutical company who develop treatments for haemophilia A.

We are helping them to recruit participants for this research and would like to ask for your support. Each person participating will receive £80 for taking part in this study.

The research involves a 60-minute telephone interview asking people with haemophilia A/parents of children with haemophilia A to talk about the experiences of living with haemophilia A. A qualified market research interviewer will conduct the interview with each person who takes part. All respondents must have access to the Internet during the interview to view documents online.

They are looking for the following people who would be willing to take part:

  • 5 caregivers of paediatric patients (<12 years)
  • 20 adolescent and young adult male patients (12-35 years)
  • 5 older adult male patients (36+ years)

If you are interested, you can email us at [email protected] giving your permission to pass your deatils on and someone will ring you to explain all the information that you will need to know about this study and to arrange a suitable date and time for the interviewer to call you. Alternatively, anyone interested can contact Paul Socha directly by phone or email on 0161 284 8889 or at [email protected]
