Big Red Bridge Walk

Join one of our Bridge Walks this October and help raise vital funds while meeting other families during this unforgettable event.

Big Red Bridge Walk London – 9 October 2021 12pm to 4pm
Join us as we walk along the River Thames and across eight of its iconic bridges: Westminster, Hungerford, Waterloo, Blackfriars, Millennium, Southwark, London Bridge and Tower Bridge.

Bridge Walk Glasgow – 16 October 2021 12pm to 4pm
Come with us as we criss-cross the River Clyde on its charming bridges: Millennium, Bells, Squinty, King George V, Glasgow, Portland Street Suspension Bridge, Victoria and Albert Bridge.

Each Bridge Walk covers around 16km and will cross each bridge and then loop back again in the opposite direction.  But don’t worry – you can mix it up and choose your own pace and distance to meet your ideal walking level.

Sign-up solo or with your family or get some friends together to form a team.

How does it work?
There is no minimum sponsorship or registration fee, simply sign-up using the form below and we’ll send you a series of useful hints to prepare for your walk, as well as digital resources to help you boost your fundraising. You’ll also get a 20% discount on merchandise from our online shop so you can wear it red on the day!

Ask your friends and family for support
Set-up a JustGiving page. There is no minimum fundraising target, but we suggest that you aim for £160 – that’s £10 per kilometre.

Why take part?
More than 36,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder and the number rises every year. By joining this challenge, you will help us raise the funds we need to ensure every one of these people is supported.
