Home deliveries from Healthcare at Home – latest update
Written by Jess Milton, October 23, 2020
We have been made aware that some of our members have been experiencing issues with their home deliveries from Healthcare at Home Ltd.
Healthcare at Home Ltd has issued a statement on their website regarding these issues and how they are working to resolve them. This statement will be updated with new information as it becomes available, so please do check back regularly.
You can read the full statement on their website at hah.co.uk/ and below:
Updated message 22/10/20: We would like to extend our sincere apologies to any patients that have been impacted by the operational issues experienced over the last two weeks.
Whilst these issues initially affected the scheduling of deliveries for only a limited number of patients, these in turn, however, have impacted on our current service levels, call waiting times and live chat availability.
We are pleased to confirm that the underlying operational issues have now been rectified but we are continuing to experience some variability in our service, very high call waiting times and live chat demand. We are very sorry for any concern or inconvenience that this may has caused our patients when trying to get through to us.
To help reduce the volume of calls into the business, and to allow us to prioritise those patients in most need of support at this time, we would respectfully ask that you note the following: If you are a patient that is not expecting a delivery in the next 7 days, one of our team will be in touch as normal and there is no need to contact us. If you are a patient that is expecting a delivery within the next 7 days, we will be in touch with you directly if we need to adjust your delivery date.
We advise anyone experiencing problems with deliveries to contact Healthcare at Home Ltd and report the specific issue. If anyone should run out of treatment, please do let your centre know.
Please do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any ongoing issues you have with deliveries, as we are still keen to gather the experiences of our community which we will feedback to the Commerical Medicines Unit.
