We need you! #TalkingRed – Another Bleeding Survey

Written by Aaron Dennis, January 28, 2020

There are more than 15,000 women and girls with a diagnosed bleeding disorder in the UK, but we believe that many thousands more are suffering in silence, unaware of their condition.

Some of the common symptoms of a bleeding disorder in women include:

· heavy periods
· bruising easily
· prolonged bleeding after a dental procedure or childbirth

As well as helping women find a diagnosis for their bleeding disorder we want to look at the financial, emotional and physical impact felt by these women, and how Talking Red can get the conversations – and campaigns – started on the issues that will make a difference.

That’s where you come in!

The #TalkingRed survey focuses on periods and the unique issues faced by women with very heavy periods, or a diagnosed bleeding disorder. The survey is open to any girl or women with a bleeding disorder or heavy periods.

Please share this survey as widely as possible so we can reach the women and girls across the UK who are suffering in silence.
