Ross Bennett

Youth Ambassador

Hi, I’m Ross Bennett and I have severe Haemophilia B. I was diagnosed at the age of 3. I have recently finished my Masters at the University of Aberdeen in Strategic Studies and Energy Security.

I lived a different life to most haemophiliacs, having been at boarding school since the age of 7 and living in a number of different locations including India and the Falkland Islands. I play a number of sports including cricket and baseball and I have spent the last couple of summers in the USA teaching at summer camp.

Due to moving around so much, I’ve not had much interaction with The Society so far, but I am delighted to become a Youth Ambassador and look forward to adding value where I can.
