VWD Ambassador
Sunny Maini has severe von Willebrand disorder (VWD), type 3. He was diagnosed as an infant and has been on treatment and in and out of hospitals ever since.
VWD has been a challenge throughout Sunny’s life, but he has always had a positive attitude and has never let it hold him back or define him. Sunny has had a very successful career as a headhunter in London spanning 15 years and has worked in the music industry. His key strengths are networking and building long terms relationships with clients and he enjoys nurturing young talent.
Sunny has recently moved from London to Hampshire and set up his own executive search company. In his spare time, Sunny works with charities, enjoys travelling, is a die-hard Manchester United fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and two Siberian cats.
Sunny is honoured to have been appointed as the UK VWD Ambassador for the Haemophilia Society and is a leading member of our VWD Working Group. He looks forward to getting involved in projects and adding value from his vast experience. Contact him at [email protected].
