Get ready to experience the iconic Ford RideLondon-Essex 100, one of the most incredible closed-road cycling challenges, which is back in 2024!

You have the opportunity to be a part of it and take on the 100-mile challenge on Sunday 26 May 2024. This is one of the UK’s most famous challenge rides, allowing riders to cycle on traffic-free roads through some of London’s most famous streets, picturesque villages, and the beautiful countryside of Essex.

There are two ways to secure a place in the Ford RideLondon – Essex 100 and raise money for the Haemophilia Society (THS)

Apply for a THS charity place

We have seven places for 2024 confirmed. Registration is just £30 per person, we ask that you raise a minimum fundraising pledge of £500 and we’ll support you every step of the way.

We will also send you a fundraising pack, which includes fundraising tips, a sponsorship form and a free branded cycling jersey!

You’ll also receive a free signed copy of Alex Dowsett’s Bloody Minded autobiography.

    Riding for THS

    Please tell us why you would like to cycle for THS

    We'd love to know a bit more about what motivated you to apply to ride for THS.


    What is your cycle jersey size?

    We are pleased to be able to offer you a free THS cycling jersey. Please indicate which size you would like. Your jersey will be sent out nearer the event date.


    We require you to raise a minimum of £500 for THS.

    Do you think you could raise more than this?

    Please note that THS pays £199 for each place in this event. This is why we set a fundraising pledge.

    Terms and Conditions

    Please read carefully

    Thank you for considering taking part in RideLondon to raise money for the Haemophilia Society. By signing this application form you are committing to raise a minimum of £500 for the Haemophilia Society (excluding Gift Aid).

    Once your place has been confirmed we will ask you to pay a registration fee of £30. If you drop out for any reason your deposit is non-refundable and cannot be rolled over to next year or another event.

    The Haemophilia Society (THS) does not take responsibility for any health issues during your training for Ride London or any incidents that occur on race day. If you have any health concerns prior to, or during, your training please consult with your doctor.

    THS reserves the right to refuse an application at its absolute discretion.

    You must be 18 years or over on the day of the race.

    If you are unable to participate in the event for any reason, all donated monies collected in support of THS must be forwarded to the charity or returned to the individual sponsors. Monies already received by the charity will not be refunded.

    Please contact THS immediately if you think you are going to be unable to participate.

    When THS establishes contact described as "urgent", we ask cyclists to respond via email/telephone/in writing as quickly as possible.

    By signing up to Ride London you are consenting to THS using any images of you in our promotional materials. Please contact us in advance of the event if you are unhappy with this arrangement.

    I would like to apply for THS charity place in RideLondon. I understand that if accepted for THS charity place I am undertaking a pledge to raise a minimum of £500 (excluding Gift Aid) no later than 23 June 2024.

    N.B. You must pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax we reclaim on your donations (currently 25p for every £1 you give). Please let us know if your circumstances or address details change so that we can update our records.

    If you have a ballot place, you can cycle and raise money for THS. There’s no minimum fundraising pledge; just raise as much as you can, and you can request to receive a fundraising pack, which includes fundraising tips, a sponsorship form and a free T-shirt/branded cycling jersey!
