Join us on Saturday 14 November for our online bleeding disorders conference

Written by Jessica Bomford, November 11, 2020

We’ve brought together experts in bleeding disorder care to talk about treatment, give practical advice and answer your questions at our annual conference this Saturday.

Join us to share knowledge and connect with the UK bleeding disorders community.

We’ll be talking about a range of issues, including gene therapy, extended half life products, ageing with a bleeding disorder and physio during lockdown.

There’s advice for girls learning to manage a bleeding disorder at school too, as well as information on non-factor replacement therapies and knowing your vWD type. Check out our full agenda here.

Sign up for a single session or the whole day – you’re welcome anytime. Although the conference is online you can still chat, share ideas and connect with our community, just like our normal conference.

At lunchtime, join our youth ambassadors for a special break-out session or have a chat with our trustees. There are lots of ways to get involved and meet people.

Kate Burt, The Society’s new CEO, will kick off the conference at 11.45am when she outlines her plans for our charity.

For members, our Annual General Meeting runs from 10am-11.15am immediately before the conference begins. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Register using this form and you’ll be sent details of how to join the event.
